Agnes Nzisa Rogo

Managing Attorney

As a Managing Attorney, Agnes serves as a senior legal strategist, litigator and initiative leader with significant responsibility to design and lead complex initiatives and manage multidisciplinary teams to achieve project and organizational objectives in line with Women’s Link Worldwide mission.

Prior to joining Women’s Link, Agnes was the Acting Executive Director and Programs Manager at the Legal Resources Foundation, a Kenyan non-governmental organization that promotes access to justice and legal inclusivity for people in vulnerable and marginalized situations.

Her wealth of experience spans across 13 years of program work in the non-profit sector and human rights litigation including managing the FIDA Kenya Western Regional office, where she harnessed her expertise in women’s rights as lead of their Legal Aid and Regional Public Interest Litigation team. She was also instrumental in their engagement with donors and partners and coordinated capacity building for stakeholders including State agents to enhance compliance with laws and policies that protect women and girls.

Agnes has a Master of Laws from the University of Nairobi. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law and a Law degree from the University of Nairobi. Agnes is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya as well as a certified professional and court accredited mediator.
