Maggie Zelonis

Senior Development Officer

Before moving to Spain, Maggie worked in administration and development at the Center for Justice and International Law (CEJIL) and the World Resources Institute (WRI) in Washington, DC. 

Maggie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from Bryn Mawr College and has a Master’s in Public Anthropology from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She currently lives in Madrid, Spain.

WHERE ARE YOU FROM?

I was born in Providence, Rhode Island, but grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana (USA).

WHAT LANGUAGES DO YOU SPEAK?

English, Spanish and French.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT WORKING FOR WOMEN’S LINK?

I especially like the intersectional analysis that Women’s Link undertakes in its work to advance the rights of women and girls, as this type of approach is crucial in promoting social change. The organization employs innovative strategies and I am proud to form part of this passionate, dedicated team that works on such important issues.
